We’re extremely proud of our staff members—and with good reason. Every individual we hire is carefully screened and intensively trained to provide attentive, responsive service. Criminal background checks are also conducted before hiring. The result is well worth the effort: loyal, long-term employees who are dedicated to their work and take pride in our unique community.

Dining and Kitchen Staff
Our food service personnel include qualified chefs who prepare our delicious and nutritious meals each day. Our servers and kitchen staff make each meal at University Place a friendly and enjoyable experience. And thanks to their hard work after the meal, our residents don’t have to worry about doing the dishes.

Housekeepers
Our dedicated, friendly housekeeping staff quickly become familiar faces who clean each apartment, provide linen services, and see to it that University Place looks great and is squeaky clean. Their services are always a welcome delight.

Front Desk Staff
Whether greeting guests or providing concierge services, there is always a friendly face at the front desk. Whenever a resident needs assistance, there is someone available 24 hours per day.

Dietary Director
Planning menus, doing the shopping, and seeing to it that our residents enjoy quality, nutritious meals that please the palate and the eye—these are the duties of our dietary director, who can also be of assistance to those with special dietary needs.

Activity Director
Our Activities Director is energetic and creates a fun and entertaining environment enhanced by group activities and discussions, wellness sessions, worship services, and many recreational events and outings.

Transportation Director
With a bus and a van to coordinate, events and excursions happening all the time, and residents who are always on the go, our transportation director is rolling most of the day to keep everyone mobile and on time.

Maintenance and Housekeeping Director
Our maintenance director keeps our place in ship shape and makes sure each apartment is in the best possible running order. From helping residents hang pictures and fixing that squeaky door latch to supervising our housekeeping staff, the maintenance director is a friendly face who helps our residents enjoy maintenance-free living every day.

Executive Director
Our Executive Director manages all aspects of our community, mentors and supports the entire staff, and serves the residents of University Place and the greater community. Her goal is to ensure that all residents enjoy their homes and get the most out of the services they receive.
